Dr. Dominica McBride
Dr. Dominica McBride is the Founder and CEO of Become Inc. She has a PhD in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Consultation from Arizona State University. Dr. McBride has conducted program development and evaluation projects with many underserved communities, both in the United States and Tanzania. She also conducts training for municipalities and organizations nationally.
Revolution is President and Chief Operating Officer of Become Inc. Mr. MacInnes is an internationally known advocate for issues of homelessness and social change. He has managed multi-million dollar corporations and grassroots campaigns for organizations like Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, and served as the Campaign Director for the OHIO Public Interest Research Group.
Project & Research Associate
Shakirra Jones is the Project and Research Associate for Become Inc. as a Federal Work Study student. She is currently enrolled at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology pursuing a MA in Counseling Psychology. Her research topics include microaggressions, psychological well-being and coping within the Latino/a community.
Stuart Barnes Jamieson
Leadership Development Specialist
Stuart Barnes Jamieson is the Leadership Development Specialist for Become, Inc. and available for leadership coaching and faith community consulting. He has worked for 14 years with Habitat for Humanity International as Affiliate Support Manager for Illinois, and as Organizational Development Consultant with the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity program. Stuart is an ordained Presbyterian pastor with a Masters degree in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University in Chicago.
Mecca Thompson practices family law. She has also served as a legal advisor and program coordinator for a youth-centered organization, where she assisted with the development of organizational policies and procedures and program development.
Seth Thomson is the Chief Information Officer for DRW Trading Group in Chicago. He has also served as Director of IT Services for DRW and Quantitative Risk Management.
Shafohi Alamgir is a regional pricing manager at WESCO Distribution. She has fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector and raised over $100,000 for cancer survivors. She has also led a children's festival for Drishtipat, a nonprofit, expatriate Bangladeshi organization that works on human rights in Bangladesh.
